What’s the cause / beneficiary of Coaster Challenge?

Participants

I’m a coaster rider. What do I need to do in preparation for Coaster Challenge?

All participants will receive a packet that includes a tshirt and their ticket to the park. You can pick this packet up the day of the event, at Six Flags or at an earlier date at specific location. All participants will also be required to sign a waiver prior to the event. Free parking passes will only be given to individuals who pick up their packets at an earlier date.

  • September, 24 – Rosati's, 5404 Grand Ave. Gurnee 10 am – 4 pm

Can I pick up someone else’s packet?

If you are picking up a packet for another individual, you must bring the original signed waiver along with their offline donations.

5k Benefits ($150 Fundraising or $100 if you are a current season pass holder)

Do participants get free food?

Yes! All participants will be given breakfast. Those who fundraise at the 10k level and above will also be given lunch vouchers.

Getting there

Is there free parking for participants?

Yes! All coaster riders receive a free parking pass. Free parking passes will only be given to individuals who pick up their packets ahead of time though, so please plan accordingly!

Can I take public transportation to the event?

Pace Suburban Bus provides direct service from Schaumburg and from Rosemont to Six Flags Great America on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from June to Labor Day. The schedule may vary depending on park hours. For fare and schedule information, please call (847) 228-2416 or get more information here.

Who is Donosaur?

Donorsaur is a made up character to help guide folks through the Coaster Challenge’s website. He’s fantastic at persuading people to donate money to a great cause!

What’s with your use of dinosaurs?

We wanted to match our website with the Coaster Challenge’s fun and entertaining atmosphere. What better way to convey that message than incorporating colorful dinosaurs?
